Emulbitume’s team is proud to announce that the new bitumen emulsion and cutback production of NAFTAL Company is now operational in El-Eulma (Sétif), located at about 300 km in the east of Algiers (Algeria).
The set-up, commissioning and training have been made by Emulbitume and our Algerian partner who has provided local technical assistance for piping and special items sourcing.
NAFTAL is a subdivision of Sonatrach and is in charge of petroleum products distribution.
With more than 30 000 employees and around 30 billions Euro turn over, it is a leader company.
Therefore, it is a great satisfaction for Emulbitume to have won the bid against many foreign companies and to have been chosen for our Atomix® technology.
The new NAFTAL unit is based on the state of the art process and may be the first full automatic system in north Africa. The PLC system, based on Siemens products, is able to produce all types of bitumen emulsion, including polymer modified emulsion.
A remote control enables to make maintenance from France which gives a maximum technical support to our customer.
The 30 tons per hour unit (emulsion) and 25 tons per hour unit (cutback) have been running for several months now and all the products (including cutback form 400/600 to 0/1) fulfill the Algerian standards for quality and efficiency.
We thank NAFTAL Company and their technical staff who have been working with us, for their trust in our products and for their commitment to the success of this project.
